Note: TLC (specimen in GZU tested): alectorialic acid (maj.), barbatolic acid (min.). Due to their
alectorialic acid content (in connection with an aging process of almost 30 years), all thalli
are slightly reddish in colour. In all specimens intermixed with the sorediate lichen Buellia
arborea (TLC: atranorin, placodiolic acid).
