Note: Spore length 16–20 µm (and thus not C. cinnabarinum s.str. with spores mostly longer than
20 µm).The following lichens were found on the same tree trunk and may be present on some
of the distributed specimens (list compiled by the collector): Acrocordia gemmata, Arthonia
atra, Arthonia radiata, Arthonia ruana, Bacidia arceutina, Buellia disciformis, Graphis scripta
[aggregate], Lecanora barkmaniana, Lecanora chlarotera, Lecidella euphorea, Phlyctis
agelaea, Phlyctis argena, Pyrenula nitidella, Zwackhia viridis.
