East Kazakhstan, the Zailiyskiy Alatau Range, district of Karasaiskiy Rayon, west of Almaty, Kaskelen, Zhanaturmys, a sparse disturbed woodland used for parking and shrubby slopes above it, near the road Almaty - Fabrichnoe, near Zhanaturmys, ca 10 km W of Almaty.
Habitat
Subsaline to saline, partly humid pastures and spring areas.
